First Lady Fashionista

The cover of March issue of Vogue features a familiar, yet surprising face. Michelle Obama will grace the cover as only the second First Lady to do so.

Since Lou Hoover, every First Lady has been featured in the high-fashion magazine, but only Hilary Clinton and Michelle have been the face of Vogue. She appears wearing a magenta silk sheath dress by Jason Wu, the same designer of her inaugural gown.
In addition to discussing fashion (of course), Andre Leon Talley talks with Michelle about how she will balance being First Lady and First Mom AND also her new role as First Lady of Fashion. From hosting sleepovers for Sasha and Malia to her thoughts on what critics said about her election night outfit, Michelle has an open conversation Talley and took some great pictures in the process. Confident in the decisions she makes to help her country, raise her children and what she’s wearing to her next event, Michelle Obama is more than ready for her role as our nation’s First Lady.
